...at Our lady of Consolation and St. Francis, West Grinstead - Saturday 11th JULY 2009.

The Marian Shrines of Great Britain are having a National Day of Pilgrimage on Satruday 11th JULY 2009 at the Shrine of Our Lady of Consolation which will be led by Fr. David Goddard, Priest Custodian of the Shrine. This is always a lovely, prayerful event with lots of devotions and a chance to catch up with like-minded people.
The theme of the day is:
THE RE-EVANGELISATION AND CONVERSION OF OUR COUNTRY.
This is a fantastic day of prayer and power for England.
The schedule of the day is as follows:
12Noon: Angelus. Papal Blessing. Holy Mass followed by personal consecration to Our Lady.1-1.45: Lunch (please bring a packed lunch)
1.45: The Joyful Mysteries of the Rosary (if fine, on the Rosary Way)
2.15: Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament with prayers for priests
3.00: Chaplet of the Divine Mercy - Adoration and silent prayer
3.30: Procession of the Blessed Sacrameent and Benediction
4.00: Departure
There will be opportunities for Confession throughout the afternoon.
