Year of the Priest - Praying for A&B Priests

As you know the Year of the Priest begins on June 19th. It's rather a last minute idea but all at Bevansinc would like to network for prayers to be said specifically for individual priests of our Diocese of Arundel and Brighton. The way we would like to do it is for people to contact us who are willing to 'adopt a priest' and make a small commitment to pray for this particular priest every day of the year of the priests from June 19th 2009 - June 19th 2010.

If you would like to take on this small commitment and adopt one of A&B's priests please EMAIL US and simply say that you will be willing to pray every day for a priest. Then Bevansinc will email you back with the name of your adopted priest as well as a nice prayer to say for them. Obviously you are not committed to pray the prayer every day, but try to whenever you can, and just remember this particular priest in your prayers every day for the year.

We will write all the priests' names on pieces of paper and put them into a box. Then when you contact us we will pray to St. John Vianney and ask the Holy Spirit to choose your priest and pull a name out, then we will tell you who your priest to pray for.

Please contact us ASAP as we only have a few days to go to get this whole thing started and we need over 100 people to commit. Please also announce it on your blogs and point them to this post so that they can join. If you are not in A&B Diocese it does not matter, we would very much like help from all over praying especially for A&B. Thank you!
