Mary's Dowry Productions is now underway with our next feature film "Saint Margaret Clitherow". Since establishing in 2007 Mary's Dowry Productions has released several documentary style DVDs such as "Philip of Arundel", "The Martyrs Walk" and a documentary on the "Sistine Chapel Reproduction".
In April 2009 we released our first feature film "Saint Edmund Campion". Due to requests we have also produced a number of catechetical resources for churches and schools such as "Well Known Saints: Volume One", "Gifts of the Holy Spirit: Volume One" and are currently producing "Well Known Saints: Volume Two" and "The Virtues". Our cathechetical resources are mainly stocked in St. Paul's Bookshop near Westminster and are also available online as individual movie files from Catholic Media House.
With our next feature film "Saint Margaret Clitherow" now in production, we thought it would be exciting to get to work alongside this film on several long-awaited documentary biographies like "Philip of Arundel" on several of our local saints and martyrs. The first of which is Blessed Margaret Pole. This 'Philip of Arundel' style DVD will be available in a few weeks and will tell the account of Margaret Pole, Countess of Salisbury who was born at Castle Farley, near Bath in 1473. She was martyred at East Smithfield Green 1541. In custody she was committed to Cowdray Park, near Midhurst in West Sussex, and removed to the tower of London where she was beheaded after two years imprisonment. Coming Soon!
